Old Mr. Dodgie is new to the big city. And entering a tall and strange building proved to be a
gigantic step for him. Not just a huge step though, but rather a flight to heaven... Or down through the gate of darkness?
The 187th Floor poses some great mystery. Nobody seemed to know whether it exist in the Moon Tower building, as it was only a supposed 150 storey structure. Crazy? But old and innocent Mr. Dodgie soon discover it's existence and takes him to one-of-a-kind travel in different time dimensions. To his amazement, everything that he is yearning for is there - his childhood memories and his dreams. Could it only be his imagination driving him nuts, or is this a solution to all his longings for a good life? Is the 187th Floor for real or a dead end entrapping and engulfing him nearer to his doom? A spell binding mystery with a touch of humor, caters to most young adults.... The Flight to 187th Floor.

MY HOMEMADE SQUELCH TRIGGERED REPEATER SYSTEM (COR)
Using Bendix King LMH-3142

This is another version of my Homemade Squelch Triggered Repeater, this time
using two Bendix King LMH-3142 VHF Base/ Mobile Radio. This radio has a maximum output power of 30 watts, but I trimmed it down it to about 15 watts (legal power for repeater use) because of the close proximity of my receive and transmit antennas.
Bendix King LMH-3142 Specification:
Frequency (RX/TX): 148.00 Mhz - !73.995 Mhz in 5 Khz or 2.5 Khz steps
Transmit Power: 30 Watts
Built in tone: Codeguard, CTCSS, CDCSS programmable
Memory: 14 Channels (with scan function)
PA Audio output: 4 watts 4 ohms
Programming: fully programmable via programming cable | ERRATA: (Last updated - October 19, 2009
This modification works only via squelch circuitry, and not not applicable for
CTCSS purposes. CTCSS is activated via audio line circuit. Initial test of this project shows that CTCSS activation will only trigger a dead carrier via the Transmitter and no audio will come out. For CTCSS purposes, consider a "Voice Activated" COR.

Both units has working transmitter, one radio is modified for transmit only and the
other one for receiving. These radios are fully programmable, with the addition of a program switch. I don't have the original programming cable, so I just hacked and added a program switch (Normally open push button tact switch) built-in. Depressing the switch for 5 seconds while holding the Function [F] Key will give you the Program Mode. In this mode, you'll be able to encode transmit and receive frequencies separately as well as other functions such as scan delay, and tone squelch, and save them to any of the 14 channels available. To bring it back to the normal operating mode, just restart the radio.  Program Switched Tapped at mic conn pin 11 marked as "PRGM"
   As with my other Homemade Squelch Triggered Repeater project, the heart of this
system is a relay switch triggered by the receive circuit's squelch IC (MC 3357 IC). This is tapped at pin 11 and with a measured voltage of 5 volts (refer to the following photo below).
